We are a flexi-school
We would love to sit down and meet with you and your child to discuss their education and what they enjoy learning about. The beauty of a micro-school is the care and attention provided is much greater and curriculum adaptations can be made to fit the needs and interests of your child.
We provide extensive half-termly written reports, detailed teacher assessments and unlimited opportunities for feedback and progress meetings throughout the school year.
Flexibility is at the heart of Hove Micro-School. Flexi-schooling allows parents and children to have agency over their education and childhood.
Prices for flexi-schooling for the academic year 2023-24 are as follows for KS1 and 2:
1 day per week: £100 per day
£3,800 per annum
2 days per week: £85 per day
£6,460 per annum
3 days per week: £75 per day
£8,550 per annum
4 days per week: £70 per day
£10,640 per annum
Prices for flexi-schooling for the academic year 2024-2025 are as follows for KS1 and 2 (age 5-11):
1 day per week: £100 per day
£3,800 per annum
2 days per week: £90 per day
£6,840 per annum
3 days per week: £80 per day
£9,120 per annum
4 days per week: £75 per day
£11,400 per annum
Prices for flexi-schooling for the academic year 2024-2025 are as follows for KS3 (Age 11-13):
1 day per week: £110 per day
£4,180 per annum
2 days per week: £95 per day
£7,220 per annum
3 days per week: £85 per day
£9,690 per annum
4 days per week: £80 per day
£12,160 per annum
Please note that we are signed up to the tax-free childcare scheme and are listed as an approved childcare provider. Therefore, you can claim up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year). If you would like more information on this, please contact us directly.
Fees are payable on a termly basis.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of £300 and a refundable deposit of £1,500 (paid back when the child leaves the school) upon registration.
Hove Micro-school's limited number of pupils will allow the children to interact with their peers in a safe and consistent environment, enabling extra care and attention that cannot be provided in a larger class. It also allows for effective collaboration with parents and the school.
Our school day is from 10.30am until 2.30pm and we operate Monday to Thursday.
Before and after school clubs are offered as optional extras to enrich and broaden the curriculum. The clubs cost £13 per session.
