We offer both full time education and flexi-schooling

At Hove Micro-School, we pride ourselves on offering a flexible and personalised approach to education. Our small class sizes allow for a tailored curriculum that meets the needs and interests of each child, creating a nurturing environment where children thrive.

We provide termly reports, regular teacher assessments, and plenty of opportunities for parents to stay involved through feedback and progress meetings. Our flexi-schooling model also allows families to have more control over how their child’s education is structured.

School Day Overview

Our school day runs from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a mix of core class time and optional clubs open to the whole school to enrich the learning experience. Here’s a breakdown of our weekly schedule:

Monday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Art and Design (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: School Newspaper (optional after-school club)

Tuesday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Gardening (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: STEM (optional after-school club)

Wednesday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Outdoor Sports (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: Yoga (optional after-school club)

Thursday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Music (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: Musical Theatre (optional after-school club)

Each club session costs £13 and provides opportunities for your child to explore creative, physical, and academic activities outside regular class time. We recognise some children already attend various clubs outside of school, so ours are optional, allowing you to choose the ones that best suit your child's interests.

Fees for the Academic Year 2024-25

KS1 and KS2 (ages 5-11):

A minimum commitment of 2 days per week is required to access enough of the weekly curriculum in KS1 and 2​​

• 2 days per week: £90 per day (£6,840 per annum / £8,816 with clubs)

• 3 days per week: £80 per day (£9,120 per annum / £12,084 with clubs)

• 4 days per week: £75 per day (£11,400 per annum / £15,352 with clubs)

KS3 (ages 11-14) with an extended day (9.30 am - 3.30 pm):

A minimum commitment of 3 days per week is required to access enough of the weekly curriculum in KS3​

• 3 days per week: £110 per day (£12,540 per annum)

• 4 days per week: £105 per day (£15,960 per annum)

Please note that school fees will be subject to 20% VAT from January 2025 unless your child has an EHCP.

Fees are payable termly, with a non-refundable registration fee of £300 and a refundable deposit of £1,500 required upon registration.
